Logic Plugin Organizer scans every Audio Unit plug-in installed on your Mac and lets you organize them into your own categories, directly in Logic Pro's plug-in menus. It writes to Logic Pro's own tag database, so your plug-ins appear organized the next time you open Logic.

Workflow

How it works

Step 1

Scan

Open the app and it reads every Audio Unit installed on your Mac. Logic Pro does not need to be running while you work, and nothing on disk changes until you write.

Step 2

Categorize

Drag plug-ins into categories you name yourself, and nest subcategories under those. Every change has full undo and redo, so you can keep rearranging until the layout matches how you actually work.

Step 3

Write to Logic

Writing updates Logic Pro's own tag database, the same files Logic reads when it builds its plug-in menus. The existing tagsets are backed up first. Restart Logic Pro and your categories are in the menus.
